Papua New Guinea has 22 provinces, 860 languages, and six million people. Its land mass is approximately 460,000 sq. kilometres and over 3 million sq. kilometres of ocean space. It is home to gold, copper, nickel and molybdenum mines and oil and gas. It has tuna resources and deep seabed minerals. Nautilus Minerals has proven deposits within the Bismarck Sea in the internal waters of Papua New Guinea.
It is rich in bio-diversity.
Where is Papua New Guinea?
It is the eastern part of the second largest island in the world, known as New Guinea. The island is located north of Australia.
Creating wealth is not the same as making money.
Do you know what you see when you look in the mirror? What happens when you move your right hand up and down? Your instinct tells you that your image has just moved its right hand. That is what you have grown up to believe is true.
Jared Diamond in his book Guns, Germs, and Steel: The Fates of Human Societies
said we are all conditioned by geography and the environment in which we live, work and play. And, so we have grown up to perceive in our mind’s eye that our image has moved its right hand so we declare to all and sundry that the image has moved its right hand.
The reality is otherwise different from your perception. If you look more intently and studiously at the mirror you will notice that your image has just moved its left hand.
So your immediate perception of Papua New Guinea is that it is a third world developing country. Its people are poor and they have no idea about creating wealth.
In this site we will provide information on politics, law, Donigi books, mining, oil and gas, land, resources, people, and attempt to expand your knowledge on Papua New Guinea. We will show you how Papua New Guineans have wealth but no money.
And, we invite you to come to Papua New Guinea. We will show you how to participate in long term and sustainable wealth creation projects in Papua New Guinea.
